LPSG

The Lexington Psychoanalytic Study Group is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization affiliated with the American Psychoanalytic Association. Our group seeks to bring members across various clinical and academic disciplines together who are interested in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapies. It was formed by Virginia Blum, Ph.D. (Professor of English, University of Kentucky), Debra Katz, M.D. and me. All three of us completed psychanalytic training at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute and are excited to establish the first psychoanalytic professional group in Lexington. We plan to have periodic presentations by local and national speakers as well as informal gatherings to meet each other and exchange ideas.
